I’m not very good at writing bio’s and, although I understand their purpose, find them completely self-deprecating as one lists their many accomplishments and vie for your attention.

           Saying things like - "My name is Joseph Robert Redl and I'm a writer/director", or having someone list their specialties like "narrative* films, commercials, and music videos." Or even going as far as to gloat their accomplishments like  being an "award-nominated director with an award-winning short film.**"

But I'd never write a bio like that...I live in New Jersey, though.
